The urban/rural classification is determined by the Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) data from the US Census. The county of COOK is urban according to table Of Rural Areas By State. USAC only uses Table Of Rural Areas By State in the SLD web site at http://www.universalservice.org/sl/applicants/step04/urban-rural.aspx to determine Rural/Urban classification. The requested discount will be modified to reflect an urban classification. The discount for John Mills Elementary will stay the same 80%, Elmwood Park High, Elmwood Elementary, Elm junior High will be modified from 70% to 60%. <><><><><> MR2: The shared discount percentage was reduced to a level that could be validated by third party data.
